Sharon Whitney. When she whistled for her dogs on her farm, something responded. Sounds coming from a cistern. She recorded the sound on an audio cassette tape and it sounds like something screaming
Daughter Amy and her 6th grade classmates from Strong City took a field trip to the house
Jay Jeffrey (sp) Fisheries & Biology major from Kansas State went down inside the cistern to look. He decided it was a common toad making that sound

Peacock, who did not want him shooting video of the accident
Video shows the accident site &
(33:53) audio of two men demanding Conway give them his
videotape before he is allowed to leave the scene. When Conway says he won’t give up the tape, Peacock picked him up by his tie and slammed Conway’s head against the back of his news vehicle a few times until Conway agreed to give him the video tape.
(35:01) Conway moved to a county road with other journalists and photographers and began videotaping the scene a second time. Howard Peacock got in his pickup truck and drove to the road and threatened Conway a second time. He grabbed the videotape and wrapped it around the tape cassette. KAKE engineers were able to salvage some of it.
