Indianapolis local news, with Oprah Winfrey's report on the attacks on 9/11

Ken Owen, Pat Carlini, and Rhori Johnston are the news anchors. Oprah Winfrey hosts The Oprah Winfrey Show. Within this video the stories covered are about the Taliban, the Indianapolis US Grand Prix, shootings, sports, weather, enhanced airport security, domestic violence initiatives, and most notably, the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Visitors loved Indianapolis downtown nightlife, including Harry Karaian from California and Gohan Vanderbloom from Holland. Carolos Atehortua from Columbia said the people were very nice. Ericka finishes by saying the fans didn’t mind the extra security checks.

07:51 Ken talks about the investigation of a shooting along interstate highway on i-65. 25-year-old William Field and 19-year-old Sally Nance were driving when an SUV fired shots in their direction. Field was shot in the leg. No motives have been identified yet.

Oprah Winfrey interviews Elizabeth Cohen on her experience during September 11, 2001, reporting as a CNN correspondent. She was on the ground, interviewing families and loved ones who were looking for their loved ones. This is significant because Cohen was able to humanize the tragedy of 9/11, putting a face to the victims, and the victim’s families.
