The “thin blue line” is a term that Indianapolis Police Officer Tim Conley had heard ever since he was “old enough to crawl.” For Officer Pete Koe, the thin blue line is black and white: there’s both right and wrong and good and evil.

Defending that thin blue line resulted in an event that killed fellow officer Jake Laird and Koe critically injured. Anne Ryder and Eyewitness News follows these men on their journey to healing as they discuss the circumstances around that “thin blue line.”
