United Ministries held a one-day workshop called "Nuclear Freeze 101."
One of the participants was Betty Kintz (sp) who said she worked on the Manhattan Project in World War II that produced the first nuclear bomb. She said she often thinks about that work and the devastation of the bombs. She wondered how it affected President Harry Truman who made the decision to drop the bombs.
