David Goodnow, anchor
WTHI-TV. Part 3 of the six-part "Legends of the Valley" series. This part focuses on John Lusk and the Lusk home at Turkey Run State Park. Lusk was an eccentric man who owned the land on Sugar Creek and built a brick house. He was an early environmentalist and didn't want his land to be spoiled. When he died, the state bought the land and created Turkey Run State Park. The state was starting to restore the Lusk Home, which is just above Sugar Creek, near a covered bridge.
