In June 1988, a crew from WLOS-TV went to Russia--the only electronic journalists from the U.S. to cover events held to mark the millenium of the Russian Orthodox Church. Dignitaries attending the celebrations included the Rev. Billy Graham, who lived in nearby Montreat, NC.
