David Goodnow
David Goodnow’s first job in radio as a reporter, air personality and salesman was at WAKO, Lawrenceville, Illinois, in 1959. He then came to WAOV, Vincennes, Indiana, in 1961. He was a news anchor at WTVW, Evansville and WTHI, Terre Haute, and then served as one of the original CNN Headline News anchor-editors for 18 years. Goodnow helped sign on the first educational TV (now PBS) station, WVUT, in Indiana.
David Goodnow was inducted into The Indiana Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame in 2009.
