Synopsis: 
This short video covers Howard Caldwell’s induction into the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame. His induction took place on October 17th, 1991.  

Log: 

0:05: The video starts showing a room of people with a man speaking in front of all of them at a long table. Others are seated there as well.  

00:20: The camera turns to face Howard Caldwell and others that are sitting at his table.  

00:35: The camera focuses in and out on the long table at the front of the room.  

00:50: A woman named Ruth comes up to the man speaking to accept an award. 

1:35: Ruth starts speaking to the audience after receiving her award, various people in the audience are shown listening.  

2:00: A man begins speaking to the audience about Howard Caldwell. He talks about Caldwell’s life and his honors.  

3:22: A tv plays an old clip from channel 6 having to do with Howard Caldwell. It’s an interview, people in the audience laugh at the clip.  

5:29: The clip ends and the previous man begins to speak again about Howard Caldwell.  

5:50: The audience claps and shows their appreciation for Caldwell.  

6:26: Caldwell receives a plaque from the man who was speaking at the big table.  

7:05: Caldwell starts speaking at the mic.  

7:05: Incue: “Well thank you..” 

11:18: Outcue: “I thank you very much for a warm reception tonight.” 

Caldwell reflects on his career and makes some jokes to the audience. He gives his thanks to people that have helped him out on the way. He talks about how he started doing a 10 minute news broadcast and now he does 90 minute broadcasts. He expresses that he is excited to see what happens in broadcasting moving forward. The clip cuts off abruptly in some parts.  

11:19: Caldwell walks away from the mic/podium and the audience claps for him.  

11:40: Caldwell’s plaque is shown. It details Caldwell’s induction into the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame.  

12:26: The Indiana Chapter Broadcast Pioneer seel is shown up close.  

12:32: The video ends and the screen cuts to black. [Text Wrapping Break]
