This clip is a newscast (both audio and video) of WRTV 6 News. The biggest story regards a rally of the KKK and an alternative rally on the other side of Kokomo. Another big story is the basketball stars Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Miller, and Charles Barkley being in Indianapolis.
0:07: Clip begins with a conversation of the KKK rallies with Grace Trahan and a transition to another story

0:47: Martha Weaver: Beginning of coverage for headquarters with multiple clips regarding. Historians from across the state gathered to turn the Earth for a $35 million project
1:29: Interview with Harry McCawley talking about the older facility and various blueprints for the project. Talks of a world class organization.
2:00: There was an ice cream event after the digging, with more interviews (Cathy Paxton/ John Baughman) about how to honor the past, but to keep things moving for the future

*2:49: Talking of the top story of the afternoon: 150 people turning out for the KKK rally and unity picnic in Kokomo

Talking about: Marilyn Carter: Multiple people trying to stop the rally with multiple clips of pro and anti spectators. There were interviews with spectators on both sides of the rally and clips of people shouting racial slurs with the crowd yelling back. Revealed that it was the first KKK rally in Kokomo since 1980 and there are over 300 police officers from 8 different agencies to keep the peace. Interview with Kokomo mayor Jim Troubaugh at the unity celebration of both black and white people and clips of the event (people singing in the background). Interview about bringing people together as a family instead of separating them. 2,000 people showed up to the alternative rally, planning on making it an annual event. There were no incidents or arrests at the rally. $20,000 was spent for security during the day.
5:27: moving on with Trahan to new material about the Indianapolis Museum of Art auctioning off a third bottle of Ale, selling for $525 each

10:10 Meredith Eisley interview talking about the program with continued clips and an offer to be a volunteer
10:40: Meridian St. was renamed Sesame Street for the day for a festival at University Park
10:52: clips for the festival for a 25 year celebration of kids television (Trahan talking in the background for the event)
11:22: clips for the Holy Spirit Church festival with games that ended that night (Trahan talking in the background for the event)
11:39: 26th Annual Black Expo was in full swing and the theme focuses on business development
