Chester Burger had a long career in public relations. Before that, he was part of the early CBS television news efforts in the mid-1950s. He was one of the first reporters on television and his original job title when he worked for CBS-TV was "The Visualizer" as the crew struggled with how to add images to the radio journalism that was popular at the time. Mike Conway interviewed Burger as part of Conway's "The Visualizers" history project on the early days of American television. Jim Wrocklage was the videographer. The interview was done at Burger's home in Manhattan, New York City.
