Howard Caldwell talks about his career in broadcast as well as the opinions he’s formed over the years. He chats with the host, talking about his own experience as well as what he’s seen in the industry.

00:51: Caldwell introduced, Caldwell talks about always wanting to be in news and interest in broadcast, talks about radio v. tv and how tv was gaining but radio more, talks about how they organized shows when they first started and how it’s different from today 

6:40: he talked about his journalism background, talked about what film they used, said he thought about moving onto a larger market but said he preferred to stay in Indianapolis, said he got into broadcast later into his career because of the military 

12:16: talked about more performers than journalists as anchors, said the audience notices, said staffs started to get bigger
