Jeff Weber is originally from Akron, OH, and then moved west to Walnut Grove, CA. His family came to Terre Haute where finished high school at Garfield High School. He enrolled at Indiana State University to study Radio, TV, and Film. He began his broadcast career in 1972 at WTWO-TV in Terre Haute, working as a reporter and news photographer for Eyewitness News. In 1975 he became assistant news director at WTHI Radio, also in Terre Haute with on-air, reporting and production responsibilities for the Weber Report.
In 1979 Weber began a 30-year career in corporate public affairs working for AMAX mostly in Indianapolis, with stops in Evansville, IN and Springfield, IL as community and media relations manager. In 1989 he joined Champion International as director of public affairs in Michigan and later in Cincinnati, OH. While in Cincinnati, he served as executive director of the Workforce One Investment Board of SW Ohio from 2005-2012 until retiring and relocating to New England where he divided his time between volunteer work, serving as director of the Listening Room Music Series at New England College in New Hampshire, and publishing two novels.
