Jack Morrow
Jack Morrow did just about everything in a long radio career in Indianapolis. Arriving at WIBC in 1940 his early music shows included “Hoosier Request Time.” In 1942 he moved to WIRE as a newscaster adopting the more formal name of John Morrow. A year later he shifted to WISH, and in 1948 returned to WIBC with assignments ranging from “Hillbilly Hit Parade” to Cadle Tabernacle remotes and from news reporting to record hops. He retired in 1990 as the station commercial operations manager and public service director.
